Evolution of Beluga Whales-
1. Beluga Whales turned into water breathers and developed gills. This has happened to the rising sea levels and migration. Since the sea levels are almost 150 feet higher then they were to start much of the beluga whales time is being spent underwater when they have to dive down. Eventually some of the species have developed gills and some have also stayed the same.
2. Beluga Whales can dive much deeper- Due to the split in the species with water breathers and air breathers, the whales that have developed gills can dive at least 150 ft more. This has happened because they stay underwater longer.
3. A small section of the remaining air breathing beluga whales have developed wings. This has happened due to the island toucanoplis that inhabits toucans has been engulfed by water due to mthe rising sea levels. The very few remaining toucans have mated with the small remaining air breathing beluga whale population and have developed small wings. This wings are small and weak so they don’t carry them very far but they use these to fly down to where the majority of fish are. This is a very critical part to their survival because since they have adapted to the warmer waters this provides them with food.
4. The fourth and final evolutionary change to beluga whales is there skin becoming thicker and more dense. This is only present in the water breathing population of the beluga whales that in the colder waters. This has occurred due to the whales running into the icebergs and over time there skin got thicker and more hard so this sudden drifts and bumps with the icebergs don’t wound them as bad.

The speciation took place around 5 million years in the future. The two species were water breathers and air breathers.
The extinct species got there due to the koala whale species that eats beluga whales.
The prosperous species that is still alive acquired wings.
